Die Anzahl rechtsextremer Straftaten steigt stetig an und die Einschüchterung der Bevölkerung von rechts außen nimmt zu. In diesem Kontext kommen immer wieder Diskussionen über ein erneutes Verbotsverfahren der NPD auf.
Da dies eine unendlich fortwährende Debatte zu sein scheint, möchte ich mich in meiner Arbeit mit dem beantragten Verbot der NPD im Jahr 2000 auseinandersetzen. Aufgrund der Fülle von Informationen und Aspekten zu diesem Thema werde ich mich ausschließlich auf einen kleinen geschichtlichen Abriss zur Geschichte der NPD und den Verlauf des Verbotsverfahrens konzentrieren.
Zur Ausarbeitung habe ich verschiedenste literarische Quellen verwendet, um ein möglichst breites Spektrum an Information einbeziehen zu können. Durch diese konnte ich mein Wissen ergänzen und es entstand im Verlauf der Auseinandersetzung mit der Literatur die vorliegende Arbeit.
Mit dem Abschluss möchte ich einige Argumente für und wider das NPD-Verbot erörtert haben und aufführen.
