Zusätzlich wird betrachtet, unter welchen Voraussetzungen es sinnvoll ist, Prototyping zu verwenden. Es wird gezeigt, dass es für das Management die unterschiedlichsten Gestaltungsmöglichkeiten rund um die Projektplanung gibt, wie zum Beispiel die Durchführung von Webprojekten.
Zudem werden die wichtigsten Phasen und Methoden beschrieben, unabhängig von der aufbauenden Vorgehensweise eines Webprojektes und anhand eines durchgehenden Fallbeispiels praxisnah illustriert.
Die Untersuchungen, Auswertungen und Bewertungen beruhen auf spezifischer Fachliteratur sowie den langjährigen Erfahrungen des Autors.
